Oztek Corp. a global provider of power conversion solutions, introduced the OZpcs-RS40, a 40kW Rack ScaleTM power conversion system (PCS) designed specifically for battery based energy storage applications. The compact, 19”, 2.5U form factor, transformerless PCS is designed to install directly into Li-Ion battery racks. Oztek Corp. is currently shipping pre-production units with delivery of full production hardware beginning in Q4 of 2018.
The transformerless, state of the art PCS provides advanced “Smart Inverter” features required by the California Rule 21 tariff and UL1741 SA. These include anti-islanding, low/high voltage and frequency ride through, configurable ramp rate, and Volt/Var mode. A SunSpec-MESA compliant serial interface is provided for control and instrumentation. Front-side terminations simplify interconnect, and the fully parallelable architecture permits easy system scaling.

Oztek will be displaying the OZpcs-RS40 at The Battery Show North America in Novi, Michigan (Booth 2216) from Tuesday Sept 11th through Thursday the 13th, as well as Energy Storage North America in Pasadena, California from Tuesday, Nov 6th through Thursday Nov 8th.
