Oztek Corp., a leading provider of power conversion systems, is now ISO 9001:2015 certified for the design, manufacturing, sale and repair of power control and instrumentation solutions. Certificate 18033QMS001 was issued on June 14 by ISOQAR, an independent, third-party certification body, after a successful audit.
“To formally go through the certification process and be recognized by an independent accrediting body is a major accomplishment,” said Oztek Corp CEO and President, John O’Connor. “We are proud of this certification and of our continued commitment to providing quality in all aspects of business operations.”
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use this standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. This certification is aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. It was first published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an international agency composed of the national standards bodies of more than 160 countries. The current version of ISO 9001 was released in September 2015.
Oztek Corp has maintained comprehensive quality standards throughout its 24-year history, evolving its methodologies through a philosophy of continuous process improvement as the organization has grown. It has long maintained a QMS to the principles that ISO represents.
